To assist with this, Heartland Dental has created a new orientation program known as HeartStart.
April is oral cancer awareness month. Unfortunately, oral cancer continues to be a growing issue for many. According to the American Cancer Society, around 53,000 people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with oral cancer in 2019, and an estimated 10,860 people will succumb to this disease.
At the recent 2019 Summit of the Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO), Dr. Rick Workman, Founder & Chairman of Heartland Dental, and Brant Herman, Founder & CEO of MouthWatch, shared their perspectives as featured keynotes. Before an attentive audience of DSO leaders, they identified teledentistry as a game changer for improving dental patients’ experiences.
This is going to sound like a cliché, but even with more than 900 supported dental offices making up Heartland Dental, we mean it when we say welcoming a newly affiliated dental office just never gets old. This was the case when we recently welcomed six dental offices of RLJ Dental of Wisconsin into the Heartland Dental family.
