It is proven that more than 40% of women suffer from gingivitis during their pregnancy. The color ranges from red to purple. Periodontitis is known as gum disease also develops in women.

The calcium deficiency can be the major reason for the dental issues during pregnancy, as the calcium is being utilized by the womb for its development and lactation of the mother. Once the breastfeeding, the deficit calcium will automatically have restored in the body.
